October Inspiration by Keren Tamir and a Farewell!!

Przypomnijmy sobie kilka prac Keren:

It is another day of farewell on our blog. Today I want to thank Keren Tamir for this amazing, creative time. I just love the ease and lightness in her works, she is very brave with mixed media and she achieves great effects. Keren is very enthusiastic and very committed person - it was a huge pleasure to have her on the team! Let's see some of her pages again:

Thank You Keren for being here, you are one talented and amazing person! I am sure you will rock our scrappy world :):):) THANK YOU:*

Keren here with my October Projects:

"The Age of Innocence"

As a background, I used the paper "Natural Beauty" from the Faces of Spring collection.
Then I created the leaf vines using 13 Arts Molding paste. I used a leftover chipboard template and smeared the paste impasto around the page. Since the chipboard area was deep, it created a thick 3D looking vine.

Once it was dry, I sprayed 3 different 13 Arts Sprays (listed below) and let them drip down the page.

Then I framed the photo and decorated it with flowers.

13 Arts Products used:
Ayeeda Molding Paste
Turquoise Chalk spray
Pearl sky blue spray
Celadon Chalk spray
Mini white flowers
white stems
bunched stems

"Inspirational Canvas"

I created this canvas for the 13 Arts October Challenge. I'm attaching some close-ups and explanations today so you can see it in more detail.

Below is the image for the October challenge on this blog.

You must use at least 2 mediums and get inspired by one of the images below. The theme of the challenge is Symmetry.

I got inspired from the blue butterfly in the mood board and created an 11x14 canvas. You can see the different angles below as I hang it on my wall.

I created this blue butterfly using lots of 13 Arts mediums and textures. Then I used 13 Arts sprays: Pearl Sky blue and chalkTurquoise to colour in the butterfly and the edges. I used a sponge to create the edge effect on the sides and then stamped lots of images using black archival ink.

I also used some Kaisercraft rub-ons and added many inspirational words on the background. The black punchinella pattern is actual plastic punchinella which I cut and adhere to the canvas using 13 Arts gel Medium.

The circles were created using 13 Arts gesso (which I diluted in water) and Pearl black spray. I used different sized lids to create them.

I used a toothbrush to create the splattered dots on the canvas. I diluted the ink and then dipped my brush.

To highlight the lines on the butterfly I used a black pencil I bought recently that basically writes on everything even metal.
